This trainer is detected by Microsoft Virus and Threat protection as Adware and gets automatically deleted on detection.

Typical false positive. The detection is on the .zip file but not the extracted trainer files.

This is the ages old argument “Typical False Positive”
This is fine, lets say it is false positive, so there are 2 things wrong with what you are repeating that you heard somewhere else.
1) It is still detected, means it gets deleted as soon as it is copied, and in most cases, It does not even get copied. The file is deleted right away.
2) It identifies as Adware.
That means s would need to Create an “Exclusion” folder, Copy it there, and then run it with possible other issues.
So while it may be True what you are saying “False positive” – You do not have any proof unless you are able to decompile the executable and look inside for yourself.
Generally, false positives are NOT detected as simple Adware. Also, these detections are based on a global heuristics from thousands, or more signatures that are identified because they are known for injection points, and have been tested on Clean VMs.
Please stop spreading this “false positive” nonsense that you heard somewhere and bring it into here. If this is the case, why are not all of Fling’s trainers detected as false positives? Why is WeMod not detected as False Positive?
This needs to be fixed, and trust has to be made. Fling is the superior choice because of its OFFLINE nature.
Also to answer your question, the file HAD been submitted to Microsoft analysis, and it analyzed the result as Adware.
This isn’t some magical high level threat. Only Microsoft approved Adware is allowed by Microsoft. And trust me, I block those too. More extra adware is not something anyone needs.
If you have submitted the file to Microsoft for malware analysis, you should be able to see what exactly got detected as adware.
I did submit the file to Microsoft, that’s why I know it’s the .zip file got detected as adware, not the trainer itself. Windows security blocks the .zip file but it doesn’t block the unzipped files (trainer and the eac by launcher), so I know it’s false positive.

@FilthyCasual If you’re still having the adware detection, try restarting the browser or clear your browser cache.
Although the trainer does have a wemod ad image, but it’s usually not considered as adware by Microsoft Security, and since the detection is not on the trainer itself, it’s likely a false positive.

Browser is not any issue. The file is still detected but not as a verified security issue. It might take more time.
Better to a fresh clean one with a new hash.
The file is already re-ed, the post date isn’t changed because it’s still the same trainer, just a different zip file with different hash.
You may need to restart the browser or clear your browser cache to avoid ing the same old file from browser cache.

The work you do is respected and I do not mind that if we use what you provided to it and promotion for you and WeMod already. The small WeMod ad is very nice and of no concern.
The concern is more so, trust involving third party code injection with server connection.
Windows defender is a messy software, and it disrupts Windows normal functionality which can cause the injected process to fail in memory, and can crash the game.
I had to clear Windows and defender caches and detection history, but Windows cloud protection flags can be annoying.
The file is clear now, will let you know in the future if anything comes up.
