The files should be whitelisted now, updating windows defender to version 1.339.981.0 seems to fix the issue.

PLS make HUD VISSIBLE to highest difficulty and enable fast travel
There is no fast travel in this game?!?!!
Each camp you find during the main story of Days Gone can act as a fast travel point.
In Survival difficulty fast travel is disabled as is the HUD
“Infinite Ammo” doesnt seem to work and it even decreases with “Items Don’t Decrease”
using the 28plus version
